As an ambassador, I was delighted to be a guest at a packed Olympic Stadium, where more than 1,300 children got to experience over 30 different sports. From football and tennis to wheelchair basketball and so much more.
A day all about sport, fun and inclusion. Children with and without disabilities were given the opportunity to discover, try out new things and, above all, have fun. A day full of possibilities rather than limitations.
Of course, I got to help out with the tennis activities, but… I couldn’t resist trying out a few other sports myself either!
I’m pretty sure that all the participants and ambassadors, myself included, went home at the end of the day feeling tired but fulfilled and full of inspiration.
Het Jeugdjournaal was there too. Great to look back at the footage!
